Inspiration and study tour to Nepal 2010
with Lakha Lama and Pia Kryger Lakha

Price: 16.500 DKK = 2200 Euro. The price includes all transportation, accommodation in shared double room, breakfast, entrance fees, teaching and guiding in English.

For this group there is a choice of flight departure from Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsinki or Copenhagen. There will however be charged an additional fee if less than 10 people travel from the same airport.

The subject and aim of the journey:
We will during this study tour work with the development of mindfulness and personal ressources. We will work with the subject through teachings by Lakha Lama as well as through the meeting with the Tibetan culture and refugee institutions, where we will experience how the Tibetan refugees by the use of human ressources, mindfulness and will power, manage to make a difference in their society, in spite of the lack of material ressources. We are traveling in some areas where the Gross National Income is very low, but the spirituality and survival strength is very high.

Travel destination:
Kathmandu and Pokhara in Nepal

In Kathmandu we will stay at the Shechen monastery guest house near the Boudhanath stupa, which is a holy monument, where Tibetans daily walk around in prayer. We will visit Guru Rinpoche's caves in Parping, where holy statues have appeared by themselves in rocky mountain. In the Tibetan refugee camp Jorpati, we visit Tibet Charity's Youth Center, where young Tibetans are educated. We will also visit the Swayambhu stupa and an Old People's Home.

In Pokhara we will experience how the grand Himalayan mountain peaks are reflecting in the Pewa Lake. We will visit a Tibetan settlement, and there will be possibility for a one day trekking tour for those who are fit for that, or you can choose to relax by boat sailing on the lake and temple visits.

We end the journey with to nights at a very fine hotel in Kupendol near the oldest Buddhist town in Nepal, Patan. Here it is possible to have ayurvedic massage and other helse treatments.
